Once at the top, an obsidian chest will appear which contains some emeralds and a random gear. Crying Portals Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) brings a new feature to the game, allowing you to build Nether Portals using both Obsidian and Crying Obsidian Blocks. You will need to roll halfway through the peak to get to the other side and continue climbing up. Behind the tree in the middle is a hidden path that you can use to climb the hill north. Walk past the Nether Portal and you will see some trees. We certainly hope so! How to Use the Nether Portal The Nether Awaits You The only thing you can get when you first find the Nether Portal is a chest with 50 Emeralds. Not far from where the path splits into two, a not-yet-shiny Nether Portal awaits you. Use your last two blocks to connect the pillars at the top. Instead of turning west through the trees to head to the Church, stay on the path heading south-east. Place four blocks in a row on the ground, then stack four blocks on both sides of that row. To unlock the path that goes to the Nether Portal, you first need to beat the Obsidian Pinnacle Mission on Default. Youll need this to make the frame for your Nether Portal. Grab 2 buckets of water, 10 lava buckets, and a stack of cobblestone and dirt. How to Unlock the Nether Portal Beat the Game You can build a Nether Portal without the use of a diamond pickaxe by constructing a manmade waterfall and using lava buckets to build the obsidian frame. ![]()
